Consulting services provided by RL COMPLIANCE. We act as your Regulatory Architects, not a Notified Body.

The information and consulting services provided by RL COMPLIANCE are designed to assist hardware and software engineering teams in understanding and applying European Union regulations (such as RED 2014/53/EU, RoHS, REACH, and the Cyber Resilience Act).

However, RL COMPLIANCE does not issue CE marking certificates. Final technical validation, physical laboratory testing, and EU-Type Examination certificates (Module B+C) must be delivered by an accredited testing laboratory or an official EU Notified Body.

Under EU legislation, Notified Bodies must maintain strict independence and are strictly prohibited from offering consulting services. RL COMPLIANCE operates as an independent advisory firm to prepare your Technical Documentation before submission to these authorities.

Clients are advised that under the European Union Blue Guide and all applicable EU product harmonisation legislation, the ultimate legal responsibility for product compliance always rests entirely and solely with the legal Manufacturer.

While RL COMPLIANCE provides expert advisory, BOM auditing, and documentation structuring (Technical Documentation assembly, Risk Assessments, Single DoC drafting):

• RL COMPLIANCE does not assume the legal responsibilities of the Manufacturer, Importer, or Authorized Representative.
• The legal Manufacturer remains solely responsible for the physical production, the conformity of mass-produced units, the final affixing of the CE marking, and the signature of the EU Declaration of Conformity (DoC).
• Any reliance on the audit reports, checklists, and regulatory strategies provided by RL COMPLIANCE is at the client's own risk, and RL COMPLIANCE shall not be held liable for any customs blockages, market bans, or penalties resulting from manufacturing deviations, undisclosed product modifications, or non-compliance with the provided guidelines.

RL COMPLIANCE handles highly sensitive R&D data. We commit to strict confidentiality regarding your product architecture, schematic designs, source code (SBOM), and Bill of Materials (BOM).

All proprietary methodologies, audit checklists, and legal templates provided by RL COMPLIANCE during the consulting process remain the intellectual property of RL COMPLIANCE and may not be reproduced, resold, or distributed to third parties without prior written consent.
